The Fourth Birthday of the Lab!
On the 1st of December, 2012 the Laboratory celebrated its fourth birthday. The party was interesting and fun, guests came to congratulate the Laboratory and presented nice gifts. Preparation for birthday took a long time, the employees tried very hard and put much effort into preparation. Vera Titkova and Dasha Hodorenko treated everyone with homemade ice-cream, and Katia Shishova baked apples. Everything was done with warm feelings, and it was felt throughout the party.
Among the guests were the dean of the department of sociology Olessya Koltsova, the dean of the department of history at the European University Alexandra Bekasova, director of the environmental history lab at the European University Julia Layus, the researcher of HSE-Moscow Ivan Pavlyutkin. They congratulated us and wished to find a lot of new friends that will stay with the Lab for a long time, as it is happens with four-year old children.
The Laboratory was given a board game "Imaginarium" as a present, which carried all of us away. In this game one needs to guess the image basing on the associations of the other players. But most importantly - the chips in this game are made in the form of colored elephants with wings. In the late evening, staff and guests have played this game several times and have chosen elephants themselves.
The Birthday party was very warm and homely, thanks for that everyone who took part in its preparation, and came to congratulate us!
